The label stacks are inserted upright in the oscillating magazine. When the label is released, the magazine swivels forward so that the front edge of the label touches the glue film on the rotating glue roll. The glueing force separates the label and pulls it out of the magazine. In this area, an additional, positioned marking on the label (f.ex. best-before date by an ink-jet print head) or a code control of the label is possible.

In the FVT 20 magazine, the label stack is ready to be removed by the pusher device. The horizontal position of the labels allows a user-friendly application, especially for very large labels. To release the label, the movable suctioning bar removes the top label from the label stack by the vacuum suctioning heads and transfers it into the label pit between the infeed rolls. Here, the label is transported to the waiting position. In this area, an additional, positioned marking on the label (f.ex. best-before date by an ink-jet print head) or a code control of the label is possible. The label is then guided to the glue roller and glued.
