wetLAN 110
Established in 1846 by Johann Wilhelm Schamel, Schamel Meerrettich GmbH & Co. KG is family-managed in the sixth Generation. In 1914 Johann Jakob Schamel developed the idea of offering horseradish in jars and made Schamel the first Bavarian horseradish factory. This innovation set the course for today’s market leadership. Over the years, the variety of horseradish products has grown continuously, but the jar as a container has remained. Of course, this has to be provided with an eye-catching and always modern label. This is where we from Langguth come into play.
In addition to the wrap-around label, the requirement was also to apply a seal label aligned to the Schamel jars. Our wet glue labelling machine wetLAN 110 is ideally suited for this. First, an adhesive labeler applies the sealing label to the lid of the jars. The jars are then aligned so that the glued main label can be applied in the correct position. Speeds of up to 300 jars per minute are possible.
The most important features of this machine, together with the cost-saving wet-glue labelling, are the coverage of a large number of container sizes and the quick and easy changeover to the desired size.
